FCCAA would like to bring you its very own:

The Beginning of the FCCAA
With the start of season 4 I have to ask myself.... WHAT HAVE I CREATED. Yes, I am the original brainchild of the FCCAA (formally known as the FGNAC). Here is the story of how it all began.
It was a cold rainy evening as I watch the HSU men's basketball team crush another defenseless team. Matt (coach of the Marauders) and I (coach of the Heroes) sat and discussed the slaughter that had just occurred. Matt, still dripping with glory, and I, in a haze from watching two of the HOTTEST basketball players ever to grace HSU with their presence (Fred Hooks and Austin Nichols), pondered what we could do to take our love for HSU basketball to the next level. We already drove to San Bernardino to be part of a 7-piece band for our beloved HSU basketball team. (Humboldt State 102, Hawaii Hilo 81, Humboldt State 71, BYU-Hawaii 61, Humboldt State 64, Alaska Fairbanks 60)... I love the GNAC site). We were going to do the crack trips to Bakersfield and watch the Glory of out boys winning to U Mass (Humboldt State 89, UMass-Lowell 82) and coming so close to winning Kennesaw St (Kennesaw St. 81, Humboldt State 67).
But our beloved boy’s that we had grown to love over the past four years, were graduating and leaving us forever. The pain was great, but we could not just give up. We had done too much, drove too many miles, spent too much money on gas and hotel rooms, listened-watched-cried over too many games to just quit now…this was just would not do.
Suddenly the rain stopped and a full moon broke through the clouds, like Fred Hooks forcing his way through a throng of defenders to the hoop. Suddenly it came to me, the very thing that would satisfy our thirst for Division II basketball… a fantasy league. YES, this would be the very idea that would unite a group of listless fans and provide a chance to experience individual GLORY. Thus, came the FGNAC (Fantasy Great Northwest Athletic Conference). We finally had the answer to our dreams.
The first year (knows as THE GREAT EXPEREMENT) needed a commissioner, so I (Sara of Coach Heroes) decided I would oversee the FGNAC and enforce all rules, listen to Bodie bitch, and fend off crazy Justin ideas… it as a hard job but we needed somebody to keep this thing afloat. I sent Matt off to work making this idea come forth. Many hours of labor went into creating the First FGNAC Rules and it was taken to congress on October 17th to be ratified. Matt, Justin, Gordon, Jack, Carolyn/Wiz, Tina, Bodie, and Alex/Ryan, were on the first congress and quickly ratified the Rules. With our changing of conferences and adding of players I still wonder, if it wasn’t for Justin’s spreadsheets ideas… Can this FCCAA league continue to expand and grow into the future?
